Access the Load Ontologies dialog
Specify the Source Ontology
- Here we will be using instances from the NYT people dataset, which we have saved to a directory on our computer.
- Uncheck "Load Ontology".
- Check "Load Instances", select the "Separate File" radio button, and click the "..." button to select the instance dataset.
- Check the "Load predefined types alignment", in order to be able to query instances from the dataset into the target endpoint. The file is "nyt - freebase - schema mappings.rdf" and is included with your FirstProject Eclipse Project. Select the "..." button to find the file on your file system and select it.
Specify the FreeBase Endpoint for the Target Ontology
- Click on the "Target Ontology" tab.
- Select the "Load Instances" checkbox.
- Select the "Semantic Web Endpoint" radio button.
- Select "Freebase" from the "Endpoint Type" combo box.
Load the instances
- Click the "Proceed" button to start loading the two ontologies.
Run the matcher
- "My Instance Matcher" is a simple matcher that's included in your FirstProject Eclipse Project. Click the "Match" button, and select "My Instance Matcher" and then click "Run" to run the matcher.
- The matcher will match the NYT instances to the FreeBase Endpoint.
